Are you an experienced Welder who takes pride in producing strong, clean, and accurate welds?

Red Dot Buildings is looking for a skilled, dependable professional who follows established welding procedures, maintains high quality standards, and works safely in a structural steel fabrication environment.

This is more than a standard production welding position.

You will weld clips, connection plates, and other structural steel components according to weld maps, shop requirements, and Welding Procedure Specifications.

Your craftsmanship will help ensure every component meets Red Dot’s quality standards and performs properly when the building reaches the jobsite.

From design and detailing through fabrication and erection management, Red Dot’s work is built on technical expertise, teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

• Weld clips, connection plates, and other components onto structural steel members.
• Perform welds in accordance with applicable specifications, including AWS D1.1 and D1.3.
• Follow weld maps and Welding Procedure Specifications to ensure correct weld size, type, location, and sequence.
• Inspect component fit-up before welding and identify alignment or preparation concerns.
• Set up and calibrate welding equipment for the assigned work.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.
• Clean beams and remove weld spatter after welding to prepare components for the paint shop.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and other lifting equipment.
• Use proper rigging practices when positioning and moving materials.
