Weekend Kitchen Assistant

Prepares and serves nutritious meals and snacks to residents and staff.

Maintains sanitary kitchen conditions, inventory management and control.

• Oversight and preparation of snacks, meals and the dietary needs of residents
• Hands on supervision of all operations in the kitchen
• Training residents in kitchen operations
• Purchasing goods or supplies as directed
• Maintaining an inventory report of all supplies
• Ensuring that food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
• Observing employees and residents to ensure that they are following policies and procedures correctly
• Observation and serving as support staff as needed

• May have to work occasional weekends and holidays.

Education: High School graduation (or equivalent).

Requires a current Food Handler’s permit (state of Utah)
