Maintain, support, and improve an existing in-house Warehouse Management System rather than building a new system from scratch.

Learn the WMS codebase, data model, workflows, and core warehouse and inventory concepts.

Maintain daily WMS operations, fix bugs, and resolve warehouse staff issues.
Improve existing features and build small features or reports such as inventory dashboards and stock alerts.
Translate warehouse operations needs into system changes.
Ensure accurate data between the WMS and connected e-commerce, ERP, and shipping systems.
Document the system and troubleshoot production issues affecting live warehouse operations.

At least 4 years of professional web development experience.
Strong frontend proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and React or Vue, plus backend proficiency in Node.js, Python, Java, or C#.
Experience with relational databases and SQL.
Ability to learn an unfamiliar codebase, solve problems, communicate with non-technical staff, work independently, and take ownership.
Ability to learn or apply warehouse concepts including SKUs, stock tracking, and warehouse workflows.

Experience with a Warehouse Management System, inventory software, or logistics/e-commerce platform.
Familiarity with barcode scanning or label printing workflows.
Experience with ERP integrations.
Background in supply chain, logistics, retail, or e-commerce operations.
