Job Description
Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Web Application Developer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support mission-critical programs in Linthicum, Maryland .
In this role, you will serve as a core engineer on a small, collaborative team delivering enterprise web services deployed in AWS. You will design and implement application features across the API, user interface, and data layers while contributing to technical design decisions and improving the reliability and maintainability of multiple applications.
The successful candidate will take ownership of features from design through production, collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements, and help deliver secure and reliable web application solutions within an Agile development environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and implement application features across the API, user interface, and data layers with limited supervision.
Develop clear technical approaches for new features and enhancements as needed.
Deploy, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot services in production.
Investigate production incidents and implement root-cause fixes to improve system reliability.
Contribute to system architecture and technical direction, including design tradeoffs, scalability, and security.
Participate actively in code reviews and promote software quality and maintainability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and estimate work.
Deliver application features and enhancements iteratively within an Agile development environment.
Support and improve enterprise web services deployed in AWS.
Minimum Requirements:
Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph .
Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience on projects involving similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
An active IAM Level I certification or higher in compliance with DoD 8570.01-M , such as CAP, GSLC, or Security+.
Professional experience with one or more of the following technologies: PHP .NET/C# Java Node.js Python HTML CSS JavaScript Vue.js React

Experience deploying and operating software in Linux environments, including service configuration, log analysis, basic networking, and automation.
Solid understanding of APIs, authentication and authorization fundamentals, and secure coding practices.
Working knowledge of relational databases and practical database performance concepts, including indexes and query tuning.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small technical team.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills:
Hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, EC2, Application Load Balancer, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, and CloudWatch, or equivalent Microsoft Azure services.
Experience configuring and tuning Nginx, Apache, or Tomcat.
Experience using PowerShell and/or Python for scripting and automation.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience supporting production services.
Experience participating in on-call or incident-response activities.
