Job Description Summary
The Enterprise Data team is building a Databricks-native platform for master data management, AI-powered data quality, lineage, and internal tools.
The mid-level Web Application Developer will design, build, and operate front-end and API layers with Databricks Apps as the primary deployment target.
The applications support data stewards, analytics engineers, and business stakeholders across global regions.
Application Development
- Design and build React and FastAPI web applications deployed as Databricks Apps and authenticated through the Databricks SDK.
- Develop stewardship and workflow interfaces with review queues, confidence visualisations, and approval or rejection flows.
- Build dashboards showing data lineage, quality scores, and pipeline health metrics from Unity Catalog.
- Implement FastAPI REST APIs integrating Databricks SQL Connector, Delta tables, and AI Model Serving endpoints.
Platform And Integration
- Integrate applications with Unity Catalog through the Databricks SDK and REST APIs for discovery, access control, and lineage graphs.
- Consume AI-generated summaries and quality assessments from model-serving endpoints and surface them in the UI.
