Role Overview
The Enterprise Data team is building a Databricks-native data platform covering master data management, AI-powered data quality, lineage, and internal data tools.
The Web Application Developer will design, build, and operate the front-end and API layer of these tools, with Databricks Apps as the primary deployment target and Unity Catalog as the data authority.
The role is mid-level and works with data engineers, platform architects, and business stakeholders across global regions.
Application Development
- Design and build React and FastAPI web applications deployed as Databricks Apps and authenticated through the Databricks SDK.
- Develop data stewardship and workflow interfaces with review queues, confidence visualizations, and approval or rejection flows.
- Build interactive dashboards showing lineage, quality scores, and pipeline health metrics from Unity Catalog.
- Implement FastAPI REST APIs integrating with Databricks SQL, Delta tables, and AI Model Serving endpoints.
Platform and Integration
- Integrate applications with Unity Catalog through the Databricks SDK and REST APIs for table discovery, access control, and lineage graphs.
