About the Role
Wattpad seeks a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and roadmap for its data platform and product intelligence capabilities. You will build the platform that enables products to make smarter decisions, partnering with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics teams.

Responsibilities
- Define the vision and roadmap for Wattpad's data platform
- Own the long term strategy for systems that transform raw product events into reusable capabilities
- Develop and prioritize the roadmap across reusable data products, insights layer, decisioning platform, and data governance
- Define the strategy and roadmap for Wattpad's Product Intelligence Platform
- Build platform capabilities that transform raw data into trusted, reusable intelligence
- Work with Content teams to deepen content intelligence
- Partner with Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science to create scalable foundations for personalization and recommendations
- Establish trusted metrics, shared data definitions, and governance practices
- Turn recurring product needs into reusable platform capabilities
- Balance long term platform investments with near term business priorities
- Influence product and technical strategy across the organization
Requirements
- 7+ years of Product Management experience, with experience owning platform, infrastructure, developer, AI, or data products
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures including event pipelines, data products, warehouses, semantic layers, metrics stores, feature stores, and APIs
- Experience working closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Software Engineering teams
- Experience defining product strategy across multiple stakeholders with competing priorities
- Strong systems thinking with ability to identify reusable platform capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence technical and executive audiences
- Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous environments while balancing long term and short term priorities
- Experience with modern product analytics and experimentation platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar
