Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC waterjet cutting machines to cut metal sheets and other materials according to technical drawings and job specifications
- Interpret engineering drawings, select appropriate cutting parameters, and prepare materials
- Perform routine machine maintenance and inspect finished parts for quality
- Keep work areas safe and orderly, and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to meet delivery schedules
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and efficiency
Requirements
- Strong technical skills in operating CNC or waterjet cutting machines, including setup, calibration, and basic troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, cutting lists, and technical specifications
- Experience working with ferrous and non ferrous metals, including knowledge of material properties and safe handling practices
- Solid understanding of shop safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment
- Basic computer skills for machine interfaces, job tracking, and production documentation
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and colleagues
- Prior experience as a Waterjet Operator, CNC Operator, or in a similar metal fabrication role is highly beneficial
- Vocational training or certification in machining, metal fabrication, or a related technical field is an advantage
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, handle metal materials safely, and work in an industrial environment

Role Description
- The Waterjet Operator role is a full time, on site position based in Dubai.
- Responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC waterjet cutting machines to cut metal sheets and other materials according to technical drawings and job specifications.
- Daily tasks include interpreting engineering drawings, selecting appropriate cutting parameters, preparing materials, and ensuring accurate, high quality cuts.
- The role also involves performing routine machine maintenance, inspecting finished parts for quality, keeping work areas safe and orderly, and coordinating with production and warehouse teams to meet delivery schedules.
- The Waterjet Operator is expected to follow all safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
