About the Role
AECOM is seeking a Water/Wastewater Process Engineering Graduate for a newly created position.
The role supports drinking water and wastewater treatment, pumping, storage, and related infrastructure projects through all project stages.
The position is described as based in London, Ontario and is expected to begin in May 2027.
Engineering Design and Analysis
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to support water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Perform preliminary and detailed process engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Prepare process calculations, mass balances, hydraulic profiles, PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, sketches, and working drawings.
- Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret flow, loading, water quality, and other technical data.
- Use spreadsheets, CAD or model review tools, and entry-level process or hydraulic modeling software.
Project Delivery
- Assist with equipment selection and supplier or vendor coordination, including technical reviews and comparison of alternatives.
- Prepare technical specifications, special provisions, and forms of tender.
- Coordinate design inputs and information exchanges with multidisciplinary teams.
