About the Role
Lead solid waste collection operations across Ras Al Khaimah.
Ensure efficient, safe, and compliant waste services supporting a cleaner and more sustainable community.
Coordinate with the department, government agencies, and the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee collection, transport, and disposal of household, industrial, infectious, medical, and hazardous waste.
- Supervise field operations, equipment use, maintenance, and enforcement of waste disposal regulations.
- Plan and optimize waste collection schedules and routes.
- Direct the work of supervisory staff.
- Enforce environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Maintain fleet and equipment operational readiness.
- Coordinate future fleet planning with the Fleet/Workshop department.
- Drive public awareness and community engagement programs.
- Develop operational policies, procedures, and manuals.
- Monitor and report waste diversion to the Material Recovery Facility.
- Resolve community concerns and requests related to waste services.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
