The position supports a new simulation center in Abu Dhabi serving regional partners and customers.

The role seeks a Wargame Designer to join the Advanced Capabilities team.
The initial role is in London, UK while the Abu Dhabi simulation center is being constructed.
The position involves collaboration with EDGE, the Emirati Ministry of Defense, customers and cross-functional Anduril teams.
What you will do
- Research, design and develop wargames that translate operational problems and customer objectives into immersive scenarios.
- Own scenario design including context, orders of battle, forces, objectives, timelines, victory conditions and analytic questions.
- Lead planning, execution and recovery for multi-day wargaming exercises, including gameplay, adjudication and real-time scenario adaptation.
- Build reusable scenario, model and content libraries in Anduril modeling and simulation and AR/VR software.
- Create after-action reviews and feedback loops that improve scenarios, adjudication logic and event delivery.
- Provide product and engineering input on wargaming, mission simulation and Virtual Warfare features.
- Support end users through content development, system integration and effective exercise delivery.
- Help improve cross-functional processes for demonstrations, exercises and customer learning.
Required qualifications
- Experience designing, developing and running wargames, structured analytic exercises or operational training scenarios.
- Effective internal and external communication across teams, business lines, platforms and clients.
- Experience with scenario design, complex problem solving, planning, rehearsals and troubleshooting.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain applicable background checks and security clearance.
- Willingness to travel, be based in the UAE and collaborate with teams in the UK and USA.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with AFSIM, SIMDIS, DCS or comparable constructive, virtual or gaming simulation platforms.
- Familiarity with military operations, tactics, techniques, procedures and hierarchies.
- Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Slack, Quip, Microsoft Office and Zoom.
- Prior military or government experience in wargaming, operational planning, red teaming or exercise design.
