Role Description

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming goods, materials, and supplies.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders, delivery documents, and inventory records.
• Store products in designated locations and maintain proper identification and labeling.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for delivery or collection.
• Load, unload, move, arrange, and organize stock safely.
• Conduct stock counts and assist with inventory checks and reconciliation.
• Update inventory records and report discrepancies, damaged goods, missing items, or incorrect quantities.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, trolleys, or other equipment where authorized and trained.

Safety and Coordination

• Maintain appropriate storage conditions and handle fragile, heavy, hazardous, or temperature-sensitive materials according to procedures.
• Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Prepare goods and documentation for shipment, delivery, or internal distribution.
• Assist with returns, exchanges, damaged goods, and stock transfers.
• Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, delivery, production, sales, and other departments.
• Report safety hazards, equipment defects, damaged products, and operational issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school education or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, inventory, distribution, or related operations experience is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and material handling.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, and arrange goods safely and perform manual work for extended periods.
• Forklift or pallet jack operation ability and a valid forklift license or certification are advantageous where applicable.
• Basic computer and inventory-system skills are advantageous.
• Ability to read labels, delivery documents, stock records, and work instructions.
• Good communication, teamwork, organizational, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime as required.

Work Standards

• Follow procedures for inventory control, security, workplace safety, loss prevention, and equipment maintenance.
• Support warehouse audits, stocktaking, process improvements, and operational projects.
• Maintain accuracy, productivity, cleanliness, safety, reliability, and workplace discipline.
