Role Overview
Abbott is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead Core Diagnostics spare parts depot operations across the UK and Ireland.
The role supports field service and customer operations by ensuring safe, efficient, and timely management of diagnostic equipment components.
The position is responsible for operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and customer service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members.
- Set performance expectations and monitor team performance against KPIs.
- Ensure warehouse activities meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor inventory movements and warehouse processes.
- Promote customer-focused service and resolve operational challenges.
- Champion safety and compliance, and support audits, inspections, and quality systems.
Essential Requirements
- Previous warehouse supervisory or team leadership experience is required.
- Strong people management and coaching skills are required.
- Experience in regulated or quality-focused environments is required.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office is required.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or similar industries is preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse performance metrics is preferred.
- Lean or Six Sigma continuous improvement experience is preferred.
Workplace and Schedule
- The role supports warehouse depot operations in Maidenhead.
- The work shift is standard.
- Travel is listed as approximately 5% of the time.
- Warehouse operations involve physical activities described as awkward, forceful, or repetitive.
