Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement across warehouse operations, including the development of improved processes
- Assign duties to warehouse technicians to meet operational requirements and customer delivery timelines
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee inventory accuracy and coordinate periodic stock audits
- Monitor performance, provide feedback, and support employee development
- Maintain a strong focus on safety; collaborate with parts group management and EHS to ensure a safe working environment
- Serve as the first point of contact for warehouse system and procedure issues
- Support the implementation, setup, and onboarding of new technicians
- Conduct performance reviews with guidance and support as needed
- Manage performance and ensure compliance with company policies
- Ensure proper staffing coverage and scheduling, including vacation planning
- Oversee and support remote warehouse operations at customer sites across Central Canada
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience with SAP implementation (strong asset) and change management
- Strong relationship building skills across diverse teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong active listening skills
- Flexible, self motivated, and proactive
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to make decisions in uncertain or evolving situations
- Computer literacy (Excel – intermediate; SAP, Power BI)
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
