Corporate Asset Management (CAM) is responsible for providing fleet, logistics and property services to the force.
There are circa 300 staff within the team, based at our Logistics Centre in Perry Barr, our HQ at Lloyd House, or locally across our sites within the West Midlands.
Fleet and Logistics (including Uniform Services and Print Room) are part of CAM and are based at Perry Barr in Birmingham.
Uniform Services provides all of the uniform and equipment associated with police officers, operational police staff, and some police staff roles, to enable them to undertake their roles and serve the people of the West Midlands.
The Print Room provides a service in relation to various operational books and forms, leaflets, booklets etc and items for court.
This section of CAM provides an essential service, ensuring that officers and staff have the correct uniform and personal protective equipment, to undertake their roles safely.
The Role: The role is an important one, as it enables officers and staff to receive their uniform and equipment in a timely manner and be deployed effectively.
It is a varied role due to the different types of uniform, depending on the role undertaken and whether the person is a new starter, or is in a more operational role.
Being part of the Team, will enable you to have an impact in ensuring our officers and staff are readily deployable and able to protect the people of the West Midlands.

Salary and Shifts:
Salary: £26,703.00 - £28,071.00
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00.
You will be working on site.
Probationary Policy: Under the Probation Policy, if you are currently in your probation period, “during your probationary period you will not be permitted to apply for alternative police staff roles within the Force unless there are exceptional circumstances.
In such cases, you would require the support of your line manager prior to applying for alternative roles, and if successful, your probationary period will start over”.
