This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations.Why this is excitingContribute to an enduring sovereign combat helicopter capability that directly supports national defence and joint operations.Work on complex aircraft systems includingBe part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering hands-on maintenance, systems engineering, supply and test activities with direct operational impact.What you'll get to do:Be a vital part of the Supply Chain Capability and contribute to the business growth strategyHandle, store and distribute Defence aviation materielEnsure compliance with BDA and ADF safe warehouse operation policy'sSupport Disposal recommendations and action as requiredPerform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock recording methods in accordance with Defence supply policySupport the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting the supply chainWork closely with warehouse team in all other activity's that ariseWho we're looking for:Demonstrated 3 to 5 years + experience in Defence aerospace/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply chain managementExperience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologiesA working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual or similar and the application of warehousing principles and methodologies.A strong working knowledge of Defence Aviation Logistic IT systems such as ERP SAPThe ability to work within a teamExcellent interpersonal and emotional intelligenceHigh Risk work licenceSecurity requirementApplicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.LocationTownsville, QLD.
