The Role

  • As a Warehouse Operative / Warehouse Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day to day running of our warehouse operations.
  • This is a varied and hands on position involving goods receiving, stock management, order fulfilment, dispatch, packaging preparation and general warehouse operations.
  • You will work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure customer orders are processed accurately, stock is managed efficiently and high operational standards are maintained throughout the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Goods Receiving & Stock Management: Receive, inspect and accurately record incoming deliveries.
  • Check goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Ensure stock is correctly stored and recorded within the warehouse management system.
  • Follow stock rotation procedures and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Investigate and report stock discrepancies, shortages or damaged goods.
  • Assist with stock counts and periodic stock taking activities.
  • Order Fulfilment & Dispatch: Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure all customer orders meet quality and accuracy standards before dispatch.
  • Consolidate delivery notes, purchase orders and shipping documentation.
  • Liaise with colleagues to resolve stock shortages, discrepancies and delayed orders.
  • Prepare products and internal production orders for packaging and dispatch.
  • Warehouse Operations: Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.

  • Preferred Experience: Previous warehouse, logistics, fulfilment or stock control experience.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems.
  • Experience with goods receiving, stock management, picking and packing.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, distribution or e commerce environment.
