Warehouse Operative

GXO Logistics is recruiting for a full-time, permanent Warehouse Operative to join our team in Emersons Green, Bristol (BS16 7FQ) , supporting our customer, Sainsbury's .

This role is based within our chill chamber operation .

Don't worry though, full thermal PPE is provided to help keep you comfortable throughout your shift.

We are recruiting for either a 6-week rotating rota (5 days from 7) or a fixed Thursday to Monday schedule , with shifts working 13:00 to 21:00 .

on a typical day:

• Work in our temperature-controlled chill chamber , handling chilled food products
• Accurately pick and pack orders using a wrist-mounted picking system
• Support a range of warehouse activities to help keep the operation running efficiently
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, productivity and housekeeping
• Follow all health and safety and food safety procedures at all times

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Be comfortable working in a chilled environment throughout your shift with full thermal PPE provided
• A positive, flexible approach and willingness to support the wider team
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to safely carry out manual handling activities, including lifting, pulling and pushing
