Successful candidates will possess the following skills and qualifications:
A current forklift licence (gas and/or electric), with reach truck experience highly regarded.
Demonstrated experience in a warehouse, logistics or sample handling environment.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling and labour-intensive tasks, including the packaging and repackaging of samples.
Strong data-entry skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience using inventory or laboratory management systems, such as SIM or EMS, as well as Microsoft Excel, will be highly regarded.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with internal teams and external clients.
Experience preparing quotations and invoices is desirable.
A commitment to maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized workplace.
An understanding of, and commitment to, HSEQ management systems and ALS policies and procedures.
Alignment with the ALS Code of Conduct and a commitment to fostering a Culture of Quality.
