Job Overview

  • Warehouse Manager Food & Beverage responsible for overseeing all warehouse and inventory operations for food, beverage, packaging, and consumable items.
  • Ensures efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, stock rotation, and distribution while maintaining food safety standards.
  • Supports restaurant, central kitchen, catering, and retail operations by ensuring uninterrupted product availability and inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of dry, chilled, and frozen products according to food safety standards
  • Maintain optimal warehouse layout and storage conditions to maximize efficiency and product integrity
  • Monitor warehouse productivity and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure timely replenishment and distribution of products to restaurants, central kitchens, stores, and other operational units
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels through ERP and inventory management systems
  • Monitor stock movement and inventory turnover to prevent overstocking and stock shortages
  • Implement FIFO and FEFO inventory practices
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and monthly inventory audits
  • Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor expiry dates and minimize product wastage
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and company quality requirements

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of food storage and inventory management practices
  • Understanding of HACCP, SFDA regulations, food safety, and quality standards
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Effective communication and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced food production and distribution environment
