Key Responsibilities

• Manage all warehouse operations to ensure efficient goods receipt, storage, and distribution.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and maintain effective inventory control processes.
• Optimise warehouse layout, space utilisation, and workflow efficiency.
• Lead, develop, and performance manage warehouse colleagues, including recruitment, training, absence management, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
• Schedule resources and allocate workloads to meet operational demands.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor performance, manage inventory, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments to achieve business objectives.
• Maintain quality standards through regular audits, inspections, and corrective actions where required.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and service levels.

Requirements

• · Proven working experience as a Warehouse Operations manager .
• · Proficiency in inventory software, warehouse systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Proven experience managing year end stock takes and managing inventory differences.
