Position Summary
Deploy and support the Infios Warehouse Management System across Canadian distribution centers.
Improve WMS processes, operational efficiency, inventory management, training, documentation, and analytics across new and legacy systems.
Travel and Work Location
- The role requires 80% to 100% travel across locations in Canada and the United States.
- The specialist works onsite at distribution centers for implementation, training, and system support.
- Rotating after-hours WMS support is required.
WMS Deployment and Support
- Facilitate Infios WMS deployment with operations support, distribution center operations, and other required teams.
- Troubleshoot WMS processes and integrations with existing systems such as JDE.
- Train operational staff on receiving, inventory, quality control, traceability, picking, and shipping.
- Assist with WMS modification identification, development, user acceptance testing, and regression testing.
Traceability and Inventory
- Manage traceability processes for suppliers, quality exceptions, and GS1 and SSCC compliance.
- Support pallet-level traceability and address gaps in training, process design, or system modifications.
- Collaborate with inventory teams to maintain accuracy and traceability in the WMS.
- Monitor receiving, putaway, overcapacity, and traceability processes, conduct inventory audits, and address discrepancies.
Documentation and Analytics
- Maintain work instructions, configuration documents, training guides, testing scripts, and process checklists.
- Update process documentation when WMS processes or enhancements change.
- Use analytics tools to generate reports, identify exceptions, and resolve operational issues.
- Support Business Intelligence improvements using Power BI, Jasper, SCI, and Excel.
Required Skills and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field plus two or more years of WMS experience is accepted.
- A high school diploma plus five or more years of relevant experience is an alternative qualification.
- Strong WMS process knowledge, user training and support experience, communication skills, analytical ability, and independent work skills are required.
- Travel of 80% to 100% is required, and the position must pass a post-offer background check.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- French and English bilingualism is preferred.
- Lean training and experience are preferred.
