Education and qualifications

Good standard of general education, including literacy and numeracy skills sufficient to accurately complete warehouse and logistics documentation.

Manual handling knowledge and experience.

Training or certification in inventory management systems or ERP systems (D)

Experience, knowledge and understanding

Proven experience working in a warehouse, logistics, stores or supply chain environment.

Experience of using IFS or a similar ERP system for goods receipt, stock management and dispatch activities.

Experience of manual handling and safe movement of goods and materials.

Understanding of warehouse processes including receiving, storing, stock control, picking, packing and dispatch.

Skills

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.

Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
