Position Overview
EC Cargo Services is hiring warehouse helpers and drivers for daily warehouse, cargo handling, pickup, and delivery operations.
The positions support the company's cargo and logistics operations in an in-person work location.
Warehouse Helper Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo safely and efficiently.
- Receive, sort, arrange, organize, pack, label, and weigh cargo and shipments.
- Move cargo between warehouse areas and support cargo collection and dispatch.
- Handle boxes, household items, commercial cargo, and other shipments properly.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization and follow safety guidelines.
- Report damaged, missing, or irregular cargo to the supervisor.
Driver Responsibilities
- Carry out cargo pickup and delivery from customers, branches, warehouses, and other locations.
- Load and unload cargo safely with support from warehouse helpers.
- Verify cargo quantities and documents before pickup and delivery.
- Complete pickups and deliveries according to assigned schedules.
- Communicate with customers, branch teams, and operations staff about delivery requirements.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle and complete required delivery documentation.
- Follow UAE traffic rules and report vehicle, cargo, or delivery-related issues.
Requirements
- Warehouse, cargo, courier, or logistics experience is preferred for warehouse helper applicants.
- Applicants must be physically fit and able to handle cargo and lift boxes.
- Applicants must be hardworking, punctual, responsible, and able to work in a team.
- Basic English communication and the ability to follow safety procedures are required.
- Driver applicants must hold a valid UAE driving licence relevant to the assigned vehicle.
- Driver applicants should know UAE roads and locations and have safe driving habits.
- Previous cargo, courier, logistics, delivery, or UAE experience is preferred.
