Role Overview
The Warehouse Helper/Dispatcher supports the complete day-to-day last-mile dispatch process.
The role is in Last Mile/E Commerce Operations and reports to the Senior Dispatcher.
The location is Al Quoz, Dubai, and the employment type is full-time.
Dispatch and Warehouse Duties
- Receive, sort, segregate, and arrange shipments by route, customer, driver, or delivery schedule.
- Pick, pack, and repack shipments accurately for delivery.
- Prepare, attach, and verify shipping labels, airway bills, barcodes, and related documents.
- Scan shipments and update shipment status in the relevant system where applicable.
- Check quantities, labels, addresses, and documentation before dispatch.
- Stage shipments by route and delivery priority.
- Load and unload parcels and support drivers with route-sequenced loading.
- Dispatch drivers and hand over shipments and documents.
- Receive and arrange returned, failed, cancelled, or undelivered shipments.
- Maintain Proof of Delivery, delivery, and returned documents.
- Move cartons, arrange materials, assist with stock counts, and support warehouse and last-mile activities.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe and report damaged, missing, incorrectly labelled, or mismatched shipments.
