Responsibilities & Duties
- Staging /set up of packaging materials in respective packaging departments
- Picking and storing of raw materials
- Preparation of next day's receiving tickets
- Receiving of raw materials
- Locating products in the warehouse; use of forklift required
- Order selection and loading of trailers
- Housekeeping of the receiving and shipping areas
- Inventory cycle counts
- Working with power equipment, hi-reach forklifts and walkies
- Adherence to procedures, safety practices and policy
Position Requirements
- MUST be able to drive a Crown Reach Standup Reach Truck
- Must have a valid forklift license
- Must be comfortable working in cold temperatures that go up to - 30°C
- Must be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada.
- Scheduling flexibility
- Ability to work independently, well organized, effective judgment
- Proficient with computer applications and comfortable learning new systems
- Focused on detail, accuracy and a strong mathematical aptitude
- Cooperative and works well with others, strong communicator.
Shift
B-shift: Flexible (4 days a week) 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM
C-shift: Flexible (5 days a week) 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM
Pay Rate: $25.54 per hour (probationary), $28.38 per hour (full rate)
