What You Will Do:
- Receive and Intake donations for Foundation throughout service areas.
- Unloads and unpacks incoming donations and performs sorting, grading, and stocking of donations.
- Sorting donations categories needed to fill the orders from internal campuses and outside organizations.
- Assist with the organization of the warehouse, in collaboration with the Donation Director, to ensure the safe flow, sorting, and storage of donations and related equipment.
- Utilize pallet jacks to maneuver inventories throughout the warehouse.
- Maintains the donation warehouse in a clean, orderly & safe manner.
- Perform any additional tasks and projects as deemed necessary for the smooth operation of the donations services.
- Other related duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of warehouse operations.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Ability to operate general office equipment.
Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during long shifts.
Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move stuff around
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
Required :
Previous warehouse operations experience.
Previous experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong initiative. Self-driven and able to deliver results with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change the course of action quickly.
Preferred:
The ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
Certifications or Licenses:
Required: NONE
Class C Driver’s License
Forklift Operator License
