JOB SUMMARY - Auditor
The Warehouse Associate 2 plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities within a large distribution center. This position is responsible for handling inventory, maintaining accurate records, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and organizational standards. The Warehouse Associate 2 is a mid-level role within a four-level career path model and is expected to perform tasks with minimal supervision while supporting the overall productivity of the warehouse team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
o Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and participate in ongoing safety training sessions. Keep the workspace clean and organized to prevent hazards. Report unsafe practices, incidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
o Product Handling & Organization: Demonstrated proficiency in the operation of an RF scan gun for conducting picking in a warehouse operation.
o Quality Control & Accuracy: Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues in products received or shipped.
o Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate warehouse equipment such as RF Scan Guns and electric pallet jacks, safely and efficiently. Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure operational safety and compliance. Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment, such as battery levels or safety features, and report issues to the supervisor.
o Adaptability & Continuous Improvement: Identify and resolve routine warehouse challenges in a timely and effective manner. Identify ideas to enhance warehouse processes and efficiency. Participate in cross functional activities and projects as needed.

CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
o High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
o Minimum of 1 year in Warehouse or Distribution Center
o Possess basic knowledge of warehouse pick pack and ship operations.
o Previous experience and proficiency in operating an electric pallet jack and RF gun (certification required for the electric pallet jack).
o Develop basic knowledge of products and production information that is picked/handled
o Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
o Dependable, with a solid attendance record and a commitment to punctuality.
o Strong sense of accountability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
o Effective communication and teamwork skills.
o Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 60 lbs.) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
o Basic math and computer skills for data entry.
o Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
