Warehouse Associate - Distribution Center

Essential Functions: · Works independently to safely receive, pick, pack, unpack, and ship products based on company standards · Perform all tasks with proper attention to safety procedures and conventions (e.g. use proper lifting techniques, maintain a safety zone around equipment, etc.) · Identify any missing, lost or damaged materials · Manages all merchandise with appropriate care · May assist with training of newly employed team members · Application of labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination. · Maintain excellent knowledge of all company's products and policies · May perform other duties as assigned in support of the overall success of the company Competencies: · Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to take initiative and quickly adapt to change · Excellent time management and organization skills; meticulous attention to detail · Demonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity · Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals · Ability to work positively and collaboratively with different groups within the company to advance the company’s stability and growth · Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and work effectively in a team environment · Skilled at communicating clearly both verbally and in writing · Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements Work Environment: · Works in a warehouse environment that is not temperature controlled · Standing, walking, lifting, climbing, pulling, pushing for long periods · Frequently lift or pull up to 40 pounds Education and Experience: · Candidates must be 18 years or older. · High school diploma required (or GED + warehouse work experience) · 0-3 years prior experience in warehouse or retail environment · Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently, and communicate verbally and in writing Expected Hours of Work: · This is a full-time position and team members work a set schedule Monday - Friday (6am - 230pm) Apply in person at 2200 Courage Dr, Suite A.
