Role Description
- The Warehouse Assistant is a part time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a mix of on site work at the warehouse and some work from home tasks where applicable.
- This role supports day to day warehouse operations, including receiving, checking, and organizing incoming stock, as well as packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
- The Warehouse Assistant updates inventory records, assists with stock counts, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Depending on business needs and qualifications, the role may include operating material handling equipment and coordinating with internal teams or customers on order status.
- The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and adherence to company safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in packing, order preparation, and handling goods safely and efficiently.
- Candidates should possess skills in inventory control and inventory management, including stock counting and record updating.
- Candidates should possess skills related to forklift operation or other warehouse equipment, with appropriate certifications where required.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills to support internal teams and external customers with order and delivery inquiries.
- Additional qualifications: prior warehouse or logistics experience, basic computer and ERP system familiarity, strong organizational skills, ability to lift and move goods safely, and commitment to health and safety procedures.
