Role Description
- The Warehouse Assistant is a part time hybrid role based in Dubai, with some tasks performed on site and others completed from home.
- This role supports daily warehouse operations, including receiving, unpacking, organizing, and packing goods for storage or distribution.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, organize, and pack goods for storage or distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and update inventory systems.
- Handle materials safely, prepare orders, coordinate with logistics partners, and assist with basic equipment operation.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries and support customer service needs related to shipments.
- Follow all safety, quality, and organizational procedures.
Qualifications
- Skills in packing and handling goods efficiently and safely.
- Skills in inventory control and inventory management.
- Skills in forklift operation or other warehouse equipment handling, with a focus on safety.
- Customer service skills to support internal teams and external partners.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Ability to perform light to moderate physical tasks, including standing, lifting, and moving items.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Greek or Arabic is a plus.
