Through our Christmas Cheer program, we help lower-income families in our community provide a joyful Christmas for their families.

General warehouse duties at the Christmas Cheer warehouse
Loading and unloading of vans / trucks
Moving, sorting and packing toys and other donated items
Assist the Doorways Regional Manager with directing and supporting the activities of volunteers
Maintaining a clean and safe workplace, in a high-flow environment
Report any hazards, near misses and incidents to Line Manager as soon as practicable, ensuring safety of all individuals, and ensuring adherence to TSA policy and procedures

Experience in customer service or community services industries
Proven experience in the recycling/transport industry would be highly desirable
Self-motivated, high level of initiative and strong work ethic
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively

Solid level of computer literacy and basic bookkeeping
Sound presentation and communication skills (both oral and written) to be able to interact and network positively with a variety of people.
