Role Overview

Required Qualifications

• Candidates should have 8 to 12 years of financial-industry business analysis experience.
• Mandatory experience with front-office applications, relational data models, and SQL queries is required.
• Candidates should understand capital markets, financial asset classes, trade lifecycle, portfolio management, and related operations.
• Experience with one or more of Oracle, MS SQL, or DB2 databases and strong data analytics skills is required.
• An MBA, MCA, BE, B.Tech, or equivalent qualification with 8 or more years of experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute individually to one or more wealth and asset management projects.
• Manage junior business analysts when required by project needs.
• Create detailed requirements stories and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with onsite coordinators and customer representatives.
• Complete assigned work on time and provide regular status reporting.
• Manage direct-report performance, mentor resources, foster teamwork, and build quality culture.
• Review client workflows and recommend improvements to maximize package benefits.
• Travel to customer locations when needed.

Skills and Domain Knowledge

• Knowledge of financial services or capital markets across front, middle, and back office is required.
• Knowledge of portfolio management, trade execution, data control, operations, and portfolio administration is required.
• Understanding of data models and application or business architecture is required.
• Experience defining package customization, integration, and data requirements is required.
• Strong leadership and client-facing skills are required.
• Knowledge of wealth management, data visualization, Git, or Azure/AWS is advantageous.

Platform Experience

• Techno-functional knowledge of a core wealth or asset management platform is preferred.
• Experience with Aladdin from BlackRock, Charles River, or an equivalent platform is preferred.
