- Serve food and beverages to students and staff in a friendly and efficient manner
- Operate the cash register, handle payments accurately, and issue receipts
- Receive and check incoming deliveries, ensuring correct quantities and quality
- Monitor and manage stock levels, reporting low supplies as needed
- Set up and maintain attractive, organized food displays
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to requests with a helpful attitude
- Maintain a clean and tidy canteen at all times, including food prep areas, counters, and dining spaces
- Take personal responsibility for assigned tasks and duties throughout the shift
Requirements
- Strictly follow food hygiene and safety regulations at all times
- Hold or be willing to obtain a food handler's certificate
- Punctual, dependable, and accountable in all aspects of the role
- Able to work well as part of a team in a busy environment
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and transactions
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or retail is an advantage but not required
- Customer service: 2 years (Required)
