Job Description
Provide professional food and beverage service to hotel guests.
Help ensure that each restaurant visit is a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform food and beverage service according to the hotel's standard of performance manual.
- Greet, seat, and serve customers in a professional, discreet, and personalized manner.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the assigned outlet's food and beverage menu to advise guests.
- Monitor the quality of food and beverages being served.
- Attend to customer complaints and queries satisfactorily.
- Maintain outlet hygiene, cleanliness, and service equipment.
- Complete service preparations before, during, and after service.
- Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage.
- Use upselling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- A diploma or degree in hospitality, or vocational training in food and beverage, is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Waiter or Waitress in a high-volume restaurant is required.
- A good command of English is essential.
- Guest service and interpersonal skills are essential.
