Role
The role is for a Waiter or Waitress providing guest service in a restaurant outlet.
At least one year of experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide efficient, friendly, and attentive service according to established service standards.
- Attend start-of-shift briefings and exchange information for daily operations.
- Prepare mise-en-place, cutlery, and crockery and arrange them to predetermined standards.
- Prepare and set tables while maintaining equipment cleanliness.
- Maintain knowledge of the food and beverage menu to respond appropriately to guests.
- Follow the restaurant’s standard service sequence from welcoming guests to farewell.
- Enter food and beverage orders in the point-of-sale system.
- Perform cashiering work using the point-of-sale system when necessary.
- Maximize sales through suggestive selling and upselling.
- Replace dirty linens with clean, undamaged, and unstained linens.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience is required.
- Knowledge of the restaurant’s food and beverage menu is needed for guest service.
- The standard service sequence must be followed when serving guests.
- Point-of-sale use is required for order entry and may be needed for cashiering.
Pay
- QAR 1,085.71 to QAR 4,656.47 per month.
