Wacol | Site Operations Manager

We're looking for an experienced and resilient Site Operations Manager to lead one of DHL Supply Chain's most high-profile transport operations based in Wacol, QLD

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a complex operation that includes:

Leading a critical 24/7 transport operation for a major customer.

Managing a team of up to 20+ drivers across packaged and bulk deliveries.

Driving a strong safety-first culture within a highly regulated environment.

Delivering operational performance, customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Leading workforce engagement and performance across a dynamic and fast-paced operation.

Managing complex operational challenges while balancing compliance, cost and service outcomes.

This role is ideal for a transport leader who thrives under pressure, enjoys solving complex operational challenges and is motivated by the opportunity to make a real impact. Experience within Dangerous Goods, gas, fuel or other highly regulated transport environments is highly regarded. Demonstrated experience leading transport, logistics or 3PL operations.

Experience as a Site Operations Manager, Transport Manager or Operations Manager, or be a high-performing Transport Supervisor ready to step into a larger leadership role.

Proven ability to lead large operational teams and build a culture of accountability, engagement and performance.

Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and confidently manage challenging conversations.

Commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, cost control and operational performance.

A strong commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Dangerous Goods, gas, fuel, chemical or other regulated transport experience will be highly regarded, but is not essential.

Strong systems capability, including Excel, Teams and operational reporting tools. Experience with Chronos is advantageous.
