Responsibilities
- Process all guest check ins, verifying identity, form of payment, assigning room, and issuing room key
- Set up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements
- Enter Marriott Rewards information and ensure rates match market codes
- Secure payment prior to issuing room key and verify/adjust billing
- Compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists
- Complete cashier and closing reports
- Supply guests with directions and property information
- Accommodate guest requests and follow up to ensure satisfaction
- Process all payment types, vouchers, paid outs, and charges
- Balance and drop receipts, count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift
- Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching employees
- Develop/maintain positive working relationships and support team to reach common goals
Requirements
- Ability to process guest check ins and verify identity and payment
- Experience with cashier and closing reports
- Ability to assist management in training, evaluating, and coaching employees
- Knowledge of hotel policies and procedures
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 10 pounds

Position Summary
