Responsibilities
- Manage the program by coordinating and monitoring implementation with external partners, ensuring alignment with plans, timelines, deliverables, and budget
- Ensure stakeholder engagement and coordination across MSF entities for alignment, collaboration, and effective participation
- Secure integration of MSF standards including quality control, safeguarding, ethical considerations, and data protection
- Ensure informed decision making and effective governance through monitoring, risk management, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Act as internal ambassador for the Vulnerable Too Initiative, fostering storytelling, reflection, peer connection, and community based support
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong experience managing or coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in humanitarian, public sector, or non profit environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently across teams, functions, and geographies
- Fluent written and spoken English (C1 level or equivalent)

About the Role
- Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is looking for a Program Manager to lead the implementation of the Vulnerable Too initiative.
- The initiative is a staff centered effort to strengthen peer support, connection, and well being across the MSF movement.
- The Mentoring & Coaching Hub (MCHub) offers mentoring and coaching to support the MSF global workforce.
About the Initiative
- Vulnerable Too is a global MSF initiative supported by the Transformational Investment Capacity (TIC).
- It aims to strengthen how MSF staff support each other by creating space for reflection, storytelling, and peer connection.
- Focus areas: strengthening peer support and emotional connection, creating safe spaces, testing new approaches to staff well being, and building digital and organizational models for openness and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the program by coordinating and monitoring implementation with external partners, ensuring alignment with plans, timelines, deliverables, and budget.

- Knowledge of trauma informed approaches and psychological safety.
- Proficiency in French, Spanish, or Arabic.

Contract & Location
- Contract: 50% position, 24 month fixed term.
- Start date: 1 September 2026.
- Location: Remote (global), with Oslo or Nordic region preferred for administrative reasons.
- Salary depends on location. For Norway: Salary Grade 17, NOK 371,562–404,355 annually in a 50% position.
