Role overview
Aatash Norcontrol Ltd. is hiring VTS Operators for vessel traffic services at Ruwais or Das Ports.
The role supports safe and efficient vessel traffic operations at UAE maritime hubs.
Candidate pathways
- Applicants must hold an IALA Accredited VTS Operator C0103.1 course certificate.
- Merchant marine applicants need an STCW II/1 Second Officer or Second Mate COC, 3 years as a Navigating Officer, and 1 month of hands-on VTS experience.
- Ex-Navy applicants need former Petty Officer experience in the Indian Navy and at least 5 years as a VTS Operator.
Responsibilities
- Operate vessel traffic services and support safe vessel movements.
- Monitor and coordinate vessel traffic at Ruwais or Das Ports.
Work schedule
- The rotation is 56 days on followed by 28 days off.
- The shift is 8 hours per day.
