About the role

  • DistillerSR is seeking a VP, Solution Delivery to lead and scale the organization responsible for delivering services to SaaS platform customers in the life sciences market.
  • This P&L role owns customer facing service offerings including onboarding, implementation, managed services, support, training, and custom development/integration.
  • Mandate to deepen footprint inside enterprise and mid market accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the P&L for Solution Delivery offerings.
  • Manage a mix of fixed fee and time and materials engagements, improving margin, forecasting accuracy, and utilization.
  • Partner with Finance to build operating rhythm (pricing, staffing models, revenue recognition).
  • Define and track KPIs related to effective solution delivery.
  • Lead and develop teams: Implementation/Onboarding PMs, Solution Architects/Engineers, Managed Services/Support, Training Specialists, Customer Support.
  • Manage organizational structure, hiring plan, and career paths to scale the function.
  • Cross functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product Engineering.
  • Maintain culture of accountability, customer obsession, and operational excellence.
  • Act as senior technical and strategic partner to Sales in enterprise deal cycles.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing enterprise accounts and hand off to Sales.
  • Serve as executive point of escalation and relationship owner for large accounts.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in services/delivery leadership, including direct experience owning a services P&L.
  • Experience in a life sciences services business (e.g., CRO or similar regulated life sciences services organization).
  • Formal education in Business, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Track record of scaling a service delivery organization.
  • Experience delivering to both enterprise and mid market customers.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
  • Experience operating across global/multi region markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor in sales cycles.

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience with regulatory, evidence based, or scientific content workflows (medical device/pharma regulatory submissions, PV, systematic review, or similar).
  • Enterprise SaaS/software services background in addition to life sciences services experience.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: CAD 160,928 to CAD 185,067.
  • Compensation determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and overall fit.
