Own the craft, quality, and technical direction of a roughly 50-person engineering organization.
Lead through direct reports, engineering managers, and technical leads while remaining involved in code and architecture.
Partner closely with Product, Risk, Compliance, Security, Design, go-to-market teams, banking partners, and card networks.
What You Will Do
- Own engineering strategy and architecture across card issuing, wallets, ledger, money movement, onchain settlement, and external integrations.
- Set standards for system design, code review, testing, observability, documentation, and technical decision-making.
- Review critical designs and build-versus-buy decisions for high-consequence systems.
- Establish SLOs, improve incident response, plan for 10x capacity growth, and design resilient systems.
