About the Role
Solar-LIT is seeking a Vision Algorithm Engineer to develop perception algorithms for PV cleaning robots, including object detection, navigation, and obstacle classification. The role involves full pipeline development from data collection to model deployment on embedded platforms.

Responsibilities
- Develop vision perception algorithms for PV cleaning robots including object detection, navigation path recognition, obstacle classification, and surface contaminant analysis
- Manage full pipeline of vision models: data collection, cleaning, annotation, model selection, training, optimization, and deployment
- Deploy 2D/3D vision algorithms and deep learning models onto robotic embedded platforms (e.g., Jetson) and perform performance tuning
- Explore fusion strategies combining visual information with LiDAR and IMU for robust perception
- Track latest advances in computer vision and deep learning and evaluate their application potential
- Collaborate with algorithm, hardware, and mechanical teams; participate in requirement reviews and technical discussions
- Participate in on site debugging to address vision challenges from complex lighting and weather conditions
Requirements
- Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Electronic Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of work experience in computer vision and deep learning
- Proficient in object detection and instance/semantic segmentation with models like Faster R CNN, YOLO, Mask R CNN, DeepLab
- Strong sense of responsibility, team oriented spirit, and excellent communication skills
