About the role
Technical Customer Support provides one-to-one support and customer feedback to developers and testers.
Veeam is seeking a Virtualization Backup Engineer to support customers with virtualization and backup-related technical issues.
What you'll do
- Perform troubleshooting and analysis, including log file investigation.
- Act as a technical focal point for fellow IT professionals.
- Own customer problems from case opening through resolution.
- Troubleshoot Veeam issues and related Microsoft and VMware components.
- Identify known and unknown defects, misconfigurations, and break-fix scenarios.
- Correct issues and explain relevant processes and system interactions to customers.
- Document customer interactions accurately and within SLA in the CRM tool.
What you'll bring
- Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Advanced user or administrative-level experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025, and Windows 10 and 11.
- Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, firewall configuration, and networking troubleshooting involving NAT, ports, DHCP, and DNS.
- Ability to learn, understand, and explain technical information quickly.
- Ability and willingness to own client issues through resolution.
