- Contact pet specialty retailers by phone and email.
- Secure initial opening orders and new product distribution.
- Drive repeat orders and support ongoing account growth.
- Follow up on RSM customer visits and identified opportunities.
- Schedule appointments and meetings for Regional Sales Managers.
- Deliver virtual product training when requested.
- Maintain accurate call activity, customer information, and follow-up records in Salesforce.
- Use customer and sales data to identify opportunities and guide conversations.
- Collaborate with the Canadian sales team to achieve distribution and revenue objectives.
- At least three years of proven success in a high-growth sales role.
- Experience in the CPG or pet industry is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport, communicate product value, and develop customer relationships.
- Competitive, goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated drive to exceed targets.
- Comfortable using data to support strategic customer conversations.
- Strong work ethic, persistence, and commitment to achieving results.
- Bachelor’s degree is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience using a customer relationship management (CRM) system; Salesforce experience is an asset.
- Passion for pets and enthusiasm for the pet specialty industry.
- Competitive hourly compensation of $35 per hour.
- A 12–16-week contract opportunity.
