Role Overview

  • Based in the Abu Dhabi Regional Office (ADRO), covering the IMEA region.
  • Support the regional Procurement organization in governance, performance analysis, strategic initiatives, and cross functional coordination.

A. Strategic Support & Management Assistance

  • Prepare executive presentations, summary notes, strategic analyses, and decision support materials.
  • Contribute to monthly activity reviews, quarterly strategic reviews, and annual planning cycles.
  • Translate strategic priorities into structured action plans with clear deadlines and responsibilities.
  • Participate in governance exchanges and strategic reviews with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Support department communications with various interlocutors.

B. Governance & Project Management

  • Monitor strategic initiatives and measure their progress.
  • Identify risks, delays, blockages, or deviations in project execution.
  • Track decisions, commitments, and action plans from governance bodies.
  • Coordinate reporting needs between regional teams and headquarters.
  • Participate in transformation and performance improvement projects for Procurement.

C. Data Analysis & Performance Management

  • Analyze spend, supplier performance, operational indicators, and cost drivers.
  • Develop analytical models to identify optimization and value creation opportunities.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance tracking tools.
  • Conduct cost analysis, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) studies, and benchmarking.
  • Formulate data driven recommendations to support decision making.

D. Market Intelligence & Economic Watch

  • Conduct market studies and sector analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monitor the maritime transport, logistics, terminals, and supply chain sectors.
  • Consolidate market information and produce high value analyses.
  • Contribute to Procurement strategy development using a data driven approach.

E. Procurement Support & Cross functional Activities

  • Support Procurement projects through financial, operational, and commercial analyses.
  • Participate in monitoring contractual performance and supplier commitments.
  • Contribute to tracking service level indicators (SLAs).
  • Participate in budget and forecasting exercises related to Procurement activities.
  • Collaborate on cross functional projects involving Procurement, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams.

F. Stakeholder Coordination & Regional Exposure

  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders from various functions and geographies.
  • Facilitate alignment between operational, commercial, and Procurement priorities.
  • Participate in solving complex issues through effective stakeholder coordination.
  • Develop strong relationships with Regional Office teams, Headquarters, and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in procurement, supply chain, finance, business, strategy, engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2 5 years of experience in procurement, strategy, consulting, data analysis, operations, maritime transport, logistics, port activities, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, data visualization, automation, or AI is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in an international and dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable analyzing and exploiting large volumes of data.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Knowledge of maritime transport, logistics, terminals, procurement, or supply chain is a plus.

Eligibility

  • Candidates must be aged 18 to 28 and of European nationality to be eligible for this VIE assignment.
