Videographer / Video Editor

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Operate professional cinema and DSLR or mirrorless cameras to capture high-quality video footage.
• Film events, exhibitions, conferences, corporate events, activations, and promotional campaigns.
• Manage camera composition, framing, focus, exposure, lighting, and movement professionally.
• Create cinematic shots with gimbals, stabilizers, sliders, and other camera equipment.
• Plan and execute video shoots based on creative concepts and production requirements.
• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, corporate presentations, event recaps, commercials, and promotional campaigns.
• Create Reels, TikTok videos, Instagram content, teasers, aftermovies, and highlight videos.
• Perform color correction and color grading, and add motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, music, and visual effects where required.
• Collaborate with creative, design, and event production teams to develop visual concepts.
• Deliver projects on deadline, maintain production standards, and organize footage, project files, and media assets.
• Travel to event locations and work on-site when required, including evenings, weekends, and large-scale events.

Required Skills

• The candidate must be highly experienced with professional cameras.
• Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, composition, lenses, and camera settings is required.
• Advanced video editing skills and a strong storytelling and creative visual sense are required.
• Experience with fast-paced event filming and live environments is required.
• Knowledge of professional audio recording and synchronization is required.
• The candidate must be able to work independently from shooting through final delivery.

Software Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Lightroom is required.
• DaVinci Resolve experience is a plus.

Equipment Experience

• Experience with Sony, Canon, RED, or Blackmagic cameras, professional cinema lenses, gimbals, stabilizers, wireless microphones, audio equipment, and professional lighting equipment is expected.
• Drone and 360-degree camera experience is preferred.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in videography and video editing is required.
• Experience in events, exhibitions, entertainment, or commercial production is highly preferred.
• A strong portfolio or showreel must demonstrate both camera work and editing skills.
• The candidate must be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and remain creative, detail-oriented, and organized.
• A valid UAE driving license is a plus.
• Availability to work on-site and travel when required is expected.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 7,500 to AED 10,000 per month.

Work Location

• The work location is in person, with travel to event locations and on-site work when required.
