Location and employment

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit Reels, TikTok videos, Stories, advertisements, and other short-form content.
• Work with content strategists and creators to convert ideas into visual content.
• Produce authentic organic content using smartphones and professional cameras.
• Capture automotive services, vehicles, products, businesses, teams, and behind-the-scenes material.
• Create before-and-after videos and communicate service transformations visually.
• Apply appropriate framing, lighting, movement, sound design, subtitles, transitions, effects, and pacing.
• Follow brand guidelines, organise project files, meet deadlines, handle revisions, and manage multiple client accounts.

Automotive and social content

• Automotive content may include cars, detailing, PPF, window tinting, wrapping, ceramic coating, paint correction, workshops, and showrooms.
• The role requires understanding when to use cinematic production and when a natural smartphone style is more effective.
• Content formats include Reels, TikTok videos, talking-head videos, educational videos, trends, customer experiences, and service videos.

Video editing skills

• Required editing capabilities include professional cuts, pacing, colour correction, grading, sound design, music synchronisation, text, subtitles, motion graphics, transitions, and basic visual effects.
• The role requires knowledge of social media aspect ratios, export settings, opening hooks, and viewer retention.
• Software experience may include Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools.

Requirements

• Previous professional experience in videography and video editing is mandatory.
• The candidate must be able to complete both videography and video editing.
• Current residence in Dubai, UAE, and excellent English communication skills are required.
• The role requires short-form social media, organic content, smartphone shooting, professional camera operation, creative execution, and project management skills.
• A professional portfolio demonstrating both videography and video editing is mandatory.
• Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory, and agency, advertising, production, social media, or automotive experience is preferred.

Portfolio and selection

• Applicants should provide a portfolio, showreel, social media work, or links to previous projects.
• Shortlisted candidates may complete a practical filming and editing test.
• The position is not entry level and requires responsibility for production from shooting through final editing.

Compensation

• The description states compensation of AED 4,000 per month.
