The Role
Onelink Digital is seeking a highly creative Video Editor / Motion Graphics Designer for its team at Emaar Square in Downtown Dubai.
The role turns ideas, raw footage, and creative direction into visually compelling content using motion, animation, pacing, sound, and visual storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, campaigns, brand content, and digital platforms.
- Create kinetic typography, motion graphics, animations, title sequences, creative transitions, and visual effects.
- Take creative concepts from idea through final execution and contribute original creative direction.
- Experiment with editing styles, typography, transitions, sound design, and visual treatments.
- Create content optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and the wider creative team.
- Use AI tools with traditional editing software to enhance workflows, generate assets, and explore concepts.
- Manage multiple projects and maintain organized files, footage, and post-production workflows.
What We're Looking For
- 3–4+ years of professional video editing or motion design experience.
- Currently based in the UAE.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong understanding of motion graphics, animation, kinetic typography, typography, composition, visual hierarchy, and graphic design principles.
- Experience with pacing, rhythm, storytelling, sound design, music selection, colour correction or grading, masking, tracking, compositing, and keyframing.
- Strong understanding of social-first editing, including hooks, retention, pacing, and platform-specific formats.
- Ability to work independently, make creative decisions, take feedback, contribute ideas, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience incorporating AI into video production and post-production workflows.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, Cinema 4D, CapCut, AI video generation, AI image generation, or generative motion tools is advantageous.
- Experience in a creative agency, marketing agency, production studio, or social-first content team is highly desirable.
Portfolio Required
- A portfolio or showreel must be submitted with the application.
- Applications without a portfolio or showreel will not be considered.
- The portfolio should demonstrate motion graphics, kinetic typography, creative transitions, animation, social-first editing, visual storytelling, sound design, commercial or branded content, or experimental editing.
Candidate Profile
