- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
- Represent the company with key stakeholders, including yacht manufacturers, business partners, and major clients
- Nurture a high performance, customer centric culture across all offices
- Evaluate new market opportunities and drive process improvements
- Safeguard the company’s financial health and long term stability
Requirements
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding senior teams
- Proven strategic planning, business development, and decision making abilities, ideally within nautical, tourism, or related industries
- Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting financial reports
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing key partnerships and client relationships
- Knowledge of yacht charter operations, yacht sales processes, or marine industry standards is highly beneficial
- Ability to work on site in Split, with readiness to travel along the Dalmatian coast and internationally
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, management, economics, or related field preferred; relevant entrepreneurial or executive experience may be considered
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Croatian and other European languages is an advantage

- Established in 2004, the company operates a charter fleet of over 160 yachts and holds exclusive dealership rights for several renowned yacht brands.
- The headquarters are in Split, with five charter and service offices along the Dalmatian coast.
Role Description
- The Owner role is a full time, on site position based in Split, responsible for the overall strategic direction, growth, and operational performance of Croatia Yachting.
- Oversee key business areas such as charter operations, yacht sales, dealership relations, and aftersales services.
- Set and monitor business objectives, manage senior leaders, make investment and partnership decisions, and ensure compliance.
- Actively represent the company with key stakeholders, including yacht manufacturers, business partners, and major clients.
